Bromelain
Tablet: Take 250 to 500 mg daily between meals. Look for a product containing 2,400 gelatin-dissolving units (GDU) or 3,600 milk-clotting units (MCU) per gram.
Coenzyme Q10
Take 50 mg per day, with food. Increase as per the direction of your physician.
Echinacea
Capsule: Take up to 1,200 mg daily of an extract standardized to contain 125 mg of E. augustfolia root and at least 3.2% to 4.8% of echinacoside. Other echinacea species, such as E. purpurea and E. pallida are also used. Tea: Make a tea by steeping 1 tsp (1 g) or a teabag of powdered echinacea root in a cup of hot water for 10 minutes; drink up to three times daily.
